Fee Increase April 2026

During the last few years, we made it a priority to freeze our core fees, mindful of the cost-of-living crisis and the challenges many of our patients have faced. However, the sharp rise in operational costs, compounded by changes in taxation and inflationary pressures introduced in the recent government budget have made it increasingly difficult to sustain our current pricing structure.

Beginning of April 2026 our fees will have to increase slightly. We want to assure you that this adjustment is necessary to ensure we can continue providing the high-quality care and services you expect and deserve.

Cancellations and Deposits Policy

Deposits

Deposits are taken to secure your appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment (they are not an additional charge).

If your appointment time becomes inconvenient, we are happy to reschedule. We kindly ask for adequate notice, as late cancellations and missed appointments represent a cost to the practice and limit access for other patients who may need urgent care. We understand that genuine emergencies and illness can occur and will always consider individual circumstances fairly.

New Patient Deposits

The full consultation fee is required at the time of booking:

• £ 74 Adult (excluding offers or promotions)
• £ 32 Child (0–16 years) (excluding offers or promotions)

Deposits for Standard Treatment

• £80 deposit for treatment appointments up to 1 hour
• For treatments exceeding £300 or involving laboratory work, the dentist will confirm the required deposit at the time of booking. This is typically 50% of the total treatment cost, depending on the procedure.

Deposits for Orthocaps & Orthodontic Treatment

A non-refundable fee of £750 is required once Orthocaps impressions have been taken and a customised 3D computer simulation has been created for your individual case.

Cancellation, Late Cancellation & Failed to Attend (FTA)

We kindly request at least 2 working days notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 2 days notice, or missed without notice, will incur:

• Examinations and hygiene appointments (up to 30 minutes): £50 fee
• Treatment appointments: Any deposit paid will be forfeited

We understand that circumstances can change and always aim to be fair. Please contact the practice as soon as possible if you need to amend your appointment.

Payments & Fees

• Fees for treatment provided are due at the end of each appointment
• Implant and orthodontic treatments are payable in full at the start of treatment, unless a payment plan has been agreed
• Initial consultations and dental hygiene appointments must be paid at the time of booking and are non-refundable if you fail to attend or provide less than one working day’s notice
• Fees are based on individual clinical assessment and appointment time
• Treatments involving laboratory work require a 50% payment at the impression appointment (for Orthocaps, please speak with your dentist)

Our Guarantee

We guarantee our implant restorations, crowns, bridges, inlays, and veneers for 1 year, provided that:

• You attend regular 6-monthly hygiene appointments and follow professional advice
• The failure is not due to trauma, decay, poor oral hygiene, or treatment carried out elsewhere
• There is no outstanding balance on your account

Fillings and other adhesive treatments are also guaranteed for 1 year.

Treatment Plans

Treatment plans remain valid for up to 8 weeks. If treatment is not completed within this time, a new oral health assessment may be required to review any changes to your dental health.

Treatment plans may be updated where necessary. Any changes will be explained in writing and your consent will always be obtained before proceeding, ensuring full transparency and understanding.
